Pax Ahimsa Gethen

Secretary​

Raised in a musical family, Pax (pronouns: they/them/theirs) has been performing both vocal and instrumental music for over 40 years. Pax first joined LGCSF in 2013 and began their gender transition later that year, moving from alto to tenor to the bass section, where they served as section leader before returning to the tenor section in 2020. They also serve on the PR-Marketing committee, working to maintain the chorus website and social media presence. Pax was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2019.

As a blogger and photographer who seeks to improve representation of transgender and non-binary people, Pax appreciates LGCSF's support of gender diversity.  Since January 2020, Pax has also worked as a communications associate for the San Francisco Office of Transgender Initiatives.
