Van L. Mares

​Van L Mares, a Los Angeles native, upon arriving to SF eagerly sought out a place to fit in and play music. As a welcoming community of singers in San Francisco, the chorus welcomed him into their family in 2002. Van's passion and commitment to music and the LGBTQ community tied him to this chorus as they have been an institution and voice for the Bay Area. Now, 20 years later he has decided to continue his commitment to this organization, not only as a singing member, but a dedicated Board Member. Supporting music and the LGBTQ community through the human voice.
